Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra: Schools Concert

KS1 Somerset Schools’ Concert
These concerts will be held at: Westlands Entertainment Venue

Calling all KS1 schools in Somerset - join us for an exciting free concert.

Designed especially for a KS1 audience, the 1-hour presented concert will feature a small ensemble of musicians from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO).  Performing a fun programme of adventurous music, this concert will showcase the instruments of the orchestra and explore how musicians and composers have stretched the boundaries of music.

The performance will support the KS1 area of the curriculum through ‘listening with concentration and understanding to a range of high quality live music’, as well as giving children all the excitement of a concert experience with specially curated music for the KS1 audience, to take them on a musical journey.

Concerts are at 10am & 1.30pm
Tickets are free, booking opens on 8th December 2023.
